Who are MegaPath customers?
MegaPath has deployed and is actively managing approximately 18,000 customers in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, retail, restaurant (casual dining & QSR), hospitality and insurance.
How does MegaPath price its services?
MegaPath prides itself on an easy-to-understand pricing system. MegaPath’s VPN, Security and IP Telephony solutions typically consist of a one-time implementation fee plus monthly recurring fees for 12, 24, or 36 month contracts.
How does MegaPath guarantee performance?
MegaPath owns and operates an MPLS enabled, all-optical IP backbone and is a Tier-1 Internet Service Provider. This network is interconnected with the major broadband, frame relay and satellite providers for extensive selection and coverage. Through these private connections, MegaPath extends is award-winning Service Level Agreements from its backbone to its Access Provider Partners.
Who are MegaPath's partners?
MegaPath values its best-in-class partners. MegaPath has teamed up with strategic partners, channel sales partners, technology partners and access providers to meet customer demand, improve product and service offerings and extend the MegaPath network footprint.
How is MegaPath different from a Do-it-Yourself (DIY) VPN solution?
MegaPath provides the same type of flexibility on IP access as a DIY VPN solution, but includes significant differences. MegaPath’s network is interconnected with the leading broadband access providers to offer “Private DSL”. Our provisioning systems are e-bonded to facilitate swift and accurate provisioning and management of services across multiple IP carriers. MegaPath also includes end-to-end monitoring and management services, which can be extremely time-consuming for the enterprise IT staff in a DIY VPN solution.
How is MegaPath different from a broadband aggregator?
MegaPath owns and operates a Tier-1, nationwide, fiber-optic IP backbone to ensure quality of service. This network is also directly connected to and integrated with dozens of national, local and rural access providers. MegaPath provides quality of service guarantees from end-to-end. Broadband aggregators cannot provide end-to-end quality of service and are limited in their ability to control data delivery and diagnose and repair outages. MegaPath focuses on managed services, while broadband aggregators focus on arbitraging per minute or per hour dial-up or Wi-Fi rates.
How is MegaPath different from a traditional telecommunications carrier?
MegaPath has a laser focus on enterprise VPN, security and advanced IP solutions. Traditional carriers' core business remains legacy, circuit-switched, consumer long-distance services. MegaPath has built an integrated, flexible IP network architecture to deliver high-quality, converged IP data, voice and security solutions. Traditional carriers operate legacy, stovepipe networks and support organizations, which limit customer choices by the physical access facilities, billing systems, customer care restrictions and commercial terms.
How is MegaPath different from a Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs)?
MSSPs are best known for managing $100,000 data center firewalls for $1000s/month. MegaPath, unlike MSSPs, focuses on network and security needs at enterprise branch offices, telecommuters, day extenders or mobile professionals.
