This allows us to automatically process your service orders and update your enterprise systems, drastically reducing the strain on your administrative personnel. For remote users, the portal can generate customized end-user emails that explain your remote access program and invite your employees to participate by clicking on a link to complete an online registration form and (if applicable) download our remote access software. You can customize this registration form and other end-user surveys to collect information specific to your needs, and generate reports based on this criteria. So, you'll have up-to-date info on your users and we'll have the information we need to provision our services quickly and correctly.
Broadband Prequalification, Service Selection And Provisioning
The Order Management system is e-bonded with our access partners' systems to automate and expedite the pre-qualification and provisioning of broadband services. If you specify your preference of access technologies for each group of sites or users, the Customer Portal will check all of our partners' systems to determine which types of access are available at each site and automatically complete the service enrollment process. Alternatively, you can view the access technologies that are available and select them site by site, or take a hybrid approach where you review those sites that do not qualify for their first choice of access technology and decide which others may be suitable. Either way, all of the information is always available to you via the Customer Portal's interactive reports.
Once the access and services for a given site have been selected, the Customer Portal carefully tracks the order process and keeps you informed of the progress every step along the way. Remote users receive email notification of each major milestone throughout the provisioning process, and you can view status reports online. The Customer Portal's innovative pie-chart reports let you see what portion of your users or sites at each stage of the provisioning process, and clicking on a particular stage you can drill down and view detailed information on each user or site - including the actual provisioner's notes. So you know exactly what's happening with each site or user's service and plan accordingly.
