Executive Team

D. Craig Young – Chairman and CEO

Craig Young has over 30 years of experience in the telecom and data communications industry. Since joining MegaPath in July 2004, his primary focus has been to create a world class managed IP services company that provides businesses with the ability to easily and securely communicate between their headquarters, employees and business partners.

Mr. Young served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Netifice until its merger with MegaPath in 2006. Before this he was with AT&T Canada, serving first as Vice Chairman and Director and later as President. He was the President and CEO of MetroNet Communications until their merger with AT&T in 1999. Before MetroNet, Mr. Young served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Brooks Fiber, a pioneer local exchange carrier that was acquired by WorldCom for approximately $3 billion in 1998. From 1980 to 1995, Mr. Young held various high level executive positions at Ameritech Customer Business Services, US West Communications and Executone Information Systems.

Mr. Young earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from California State University, Chico.

Dan Foster – President and Chief Operating Officer

Dan Foster is the President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for day-to-day management and leadership of the company with full P&L responsibility. Mr. Foster has served in key leadership roles since joining the company in 2000.He has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and data communications industry.

Mr. Foster has a strong background in growing successful companies and channel organizations. Before joining MegaPath, he was the CEO and President at Phoenix Networks. He also served as Vice President of Consumer Markets at Rhythms Net Connections. Mr. Foster received dual engineering and liberal arts degrees from Tufts University and graduated from Harvard Business School’s executive PMD program.

Paul Milley – Chief Financial Officer

Paul Milley has over 20 years of experience in finance, treasury, banking, planning, investor relations, information systems and controllership activities for both public and private companies. He joined the company in October 2001 and is responsible for finance and administration.

Prior to joining MegaPath, Mr. Milley was the SVP and CFO of OnCommand Corporation (OCC), which provides entertainment software and technologies to the hospitality industry. While in this capacity, he helped OCC increase earnings by over 60 percent through product enhancements, new technology deployment, tighter controls and expense efficiencies. Mr. Milley's previous titles include VP and CFO of 3DO Corporation, SVP and CFO of ComputerLand Corporation, as well as positions in all levels of finance at other software and consulting organizations.

Mr. Milley earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and his MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.

Arnaud Gautier – Chief Marketing Officer

Arnaud Gautier is the Chief Marketing Officer for MegaPath, where he is responsible for the company’s go-to-market strategy and product development efforts. Prior to joining MegaPath, Mr. Gautier served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Fusion and held the roles of Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Product and Customer Experience at Broadvox. Mr. Gautier also served as Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for MegaPath following its merger with Speakeasy and Covad Communications, and served as Vice President Product Solutions at Speakeasy prior to the merger.

Mr. Gautier holds an MSEE from Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité (Paris, France) and an MBA from the University of Washington.

Mike Perusse – EVP of Operations and Chief Technology Officer

Mike Perusse is the EVP of Operations and Chief Technology Officer at MegaPath. He brings over 25 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development, global telecommunications and SaaS product and infrastructure development, implementation, service delivery and customer support.

Prior to joining MegaPath in 2012, Mr. Perusse served as SVP of Engineering/Operations at International Asset Systems, CEO at Broadband Utilities, SVP of Technology and Engineering at Qwest (now Century Link) and various executive management roles at LCI, MCI and Satellite Business Systems where he led teams responsible for traditional and next generation convergence of people, process and technology. Mike was also a Partner at Prodea an early stage IoT service provider and Board Member at Prinston Lightwave, LaserComm, Metro Optix and Evolving Systems.

Steve Chisholm – SVP, Business Development, Legal and Regulatory

Steve Chisholm oversees business development as well as legal, regulatory, and legislative affairs at MegaPath. He has worked in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years and has held a variety of senior positions since joining MegaPath in 2004. Most recently, Mr. Chisholm acted as MegaPath’s Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Prior to joining MegaPath, Mr. Chisholm held positions as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at MetroNet Communications, Senior Vice President and General Counsel at AT&T Canada, and Senior Vice President at Global Metro Networks. Prior to his work in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Chisholm worked in private practice advising clients on various business-related matters.

Mr. Chisholm earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto.

Bryan Kelln – Partner, Platinum Equity

Bryan Kelln is the President of Portfolio Operations and is responsible for all aspects of business strategy and operations at Platinum Equity's portfolio companies. He works closely with the firm's Operations Team as well as portfolio company executive management to drive strategic initiatives and to deploy operational resources.

Mr. Kelln is a seasoned executive with a strong track record of conceiving and executing successful strategic and operational transformation programs across a broad range of different industries. His unique combination of financial, management, M&A, and operational expertise are well suited to help create value within Platinum’s portfolio companies.

Mr. Kelln joined Platinum Equity from Nortek, Inc., where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the $2.4 billion diversified global manufacturer of residential and commercial ventilation, HVAC, and home technology convenience and security products.

Previously, Mr. Kelln was a senior executive at Jacuzzi Brands, Inc., where he served as President of Jacuzzi, Inc. Prior to Jacuzzi, he was an Operating Executive with The Jordan Company, a private investment firm with more than $6 billion of capital under management, where he was involved in acquisitions, divestitures, and operations for the firm, and served as a board member of portfolio companies.

Mr. Kelln also served as President and CEO of RockShox, Inc., as Senior Vice President at General Cable Corporation, and as a Partner in the Supply Chain Management Practice of Mercer Management Consulting.

Mr. Kelln received his Bachelor’s degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Washington State University and a Masters of Business Administration from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business. He is married with two children.

Scott Chandler – Managing Partner, Franklin Court Partners

Since 2002, Scott C. Chandler has been the managing partner for Franklin Court Partners, LLC. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Chandler was chief financial officer (1998 - 2000) and senior vice president for global business development (2000 - 2001) for RHYTHMS NetConnections, a leading provider of broadband services utilizing digital subscriber line (DSL) technology.

At RHYTHMS, he was responsible for raising over $2 billion for the company and in 2001, led the financial restructuring of the company, which resulted in the sale of its assets to Worldcom. Mr. Chandler also served as president and chief executive officer of C-COR.net, a pioneer in the cable television industry. Under his leadership, C-COR.net's revenues increased to over $150 million, and it was named by FORTUNE magazine as one of the 100 fastest-growing public companies.

Mr. Chandler earned his BA from Whitworth College and his MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Rob Ketterson – Managing Partner, Volition Capital

Rob Ketterson focuses on investment opportunities in information technology, software and tech-enabled services. Mr. Ketterson’s board directorships include Ping Identity, MegaPath, and Black Duck Software. He has previously served on the Board of both the New England Venture Capital Association (NEVCA) and National Venture Capital Association (NVCA).

Prior to being a founding partner of Volition Capital, Mr. Ketterson was Managing Partner at Fidelity Ventures. While at Fidelity Ventures, he headed the US and Europe investment teams. He has led a number of investments including mindSHIFT Technologies (acquired by BestBuy), Geotel [NASDAQ: GEOC] (subsequently acquired by Cisco), Nuance Communications [NASDAQ: NUAN], InterNAP [NASDAQ: INAP], Webspective Software (acquired by Inktomi), Nexabit Networks (acquired by Lucent), WaveSmith (acquired by Ciena), Connected Corp (acquired by Iron Mountain) and Intellon [NASDAQ: ITLN] (subsequently acquired by Atheros Qualcomm [NASDAQ: ATHRQCOM]).

Prior to Fidelity, Mr. Ketterson worked as a manager in the high technology practice of The Boston Consulting Group. Prior to that, he was a product manager for PC products at VLSI Technology, Inc.

Mr. Ketterson received an undergraduate degree in computer engineering from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Steve Krausz – General Partner, U.S. Venture Partners

With over 30 years of venture capital experience, Steve Krausz has led or co-led USVP’s investments in Trusteer (acquired by IBM), Guidewire Software (IPO), Xylan (IPO), Epic Design (IPO), Check Point Software (IPO), Imperva (IPO), New Focus (IPO), Savings.com (acquired by Cox Target Media), Vontu (acquired by Symantec), Sierra Monolithics (acquired by Semtech), Verity (IPO), Occam Networks (acquired by Calix), CipherTrust (acquired by Secure Computing), Accelerated Networks (IPO), Parametric Technology (Rasna), NetDynamics (acquired by SUN), Stratacom (IPO), Harmonic Lightwaves (IPO), Elantec (IPO), CenterView Software (acquired by Sybase), Applied Digital Access (IPO) and Micro Linear (IPO).

Mr. Krausz currently serves on the boards of Active-Semi, Appthority, Box (NYSE: BOX), Electric Cloud, Exablox, Inside Sales (observer), Kaiam, MegaPath, Prevoty, Quantified, Quixey, Smartling, Xirrus, and ZEFR.

Mr. Krausz is the former executive board member and Treasurer of the National Venture Capital Association and also serves on the board of the WAVC, the World Affairs Council, the Stanford Bay Area Venture Capital Group and DAPER Investment Fund.

Mr. Krausz holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Stanford Business School, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

Bob Wymbs – Partner, Platinum Equity

Bob Wymbs leads two M&A teams at Platinum Equity, both of which are key differentiators for the firm.

On the buy side, Mr. Wymbs is head of Platinum Equity’s Lower Middle Market (LMM) M&A group that targets businesses with up to $250 million in annual revenue across North America and Europe. The LMM team is nested inside Platinum Equity’s broader organizational structure and draws upon the entire firm’s experience, track record, capital base and operational resources.

Mr. Wymbs also leads Platinum Equity’s dedicated, in-house sell-side team. In that capacity, he is responsible for managing a broad range of strategic divestiture opportunities throughout Platinum Equity’s portfolio.

As part of his sell-side responsibilities, Mr. Wymbs has led and negotiated numerous transactions, including full or partial sales of NextiraOne, Clipper Windpower, AEES, Contego, Alliance Entertainment, Acument, and many others.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2000, Mr. Wymbs spent four years at the Los Angeles Dodgers and three years at McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm. At the two firms, he held various positions in strategic development, business development, project management, operations and marketing.

Mr. Wymbs earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and a Master's of Business Administration from the Wharton School.
