MegaPath Hires Josh Redick and Tom Rancel to Oversee Indirect Channel Sales for the Northeast and Southeast Regions

Pleasanton, Calif. – November 3, 2016 MegaPath, a leading provider of voice, data, security and cloud services in North America, today announced that Josh Redick and Tom Rancel have joined the company as Regional Channel Directors, responsible for recruiting, enabling, and driving revenue through MegaPath’s partner community in the Northeastern and Southeastern regions, respectively.

Together, Redick and Rancel bring to MegaPath over 25 years of telecommunications sales experience, most recently having served as sales leaders and top performers at Telesphere, now a Vonage company. Prior to Telesphere, both held positions at Clearwire where they worked together to expand Clearwire's WiMAX & LTE distribution network in the New York and New Jersey markets. Redick also spent more than 10 years as a General Manager at XO Communications, where he grew its direct and indirect sales channels in the New York and New Jersey markets. Rancel also spent over 2 years at XO Communications as a Senior Indirect Sales Manager and 5 years at Skytel in a similar role.

“At MegaPath, we believe our Partner community is our most important distribution channel,” said Rob McCarthy, Vice President of Channel Sales, MegaPath. “Josh and Tom both bring a wealth of industry experience and trusted partner relationships to MegaPath. We are excited to welcome Josh and Tom to the team and we anticipate they will bring tremendous value to our channel community and deliver immediate results.”

“I am excited to join MegaPath and extend its large arsenal of product offerings to partners throughout the Northeast,” said Redick. “MegaPath is not only one of the nation’s premier providers of hosted UCaaS and cloud services, but its large nationwide broadband footprint and its personalized support gives partners and their business customers the ease and confidence of working with one trusted service provider across all locations.”

“I am thrilled to help MegaPath continue to build momentum in the channel,” said Rancel. “MegaPath has a strong commitment to its partners combined with the reliable solutions and support that I can stand behind. I look forward to working closely with our partners in the Southeast region to deliver leading-edge cloud communications and managed network services that offer real value to business customers.”

Redick and Rancel are based in New York and will work under the leadership of Robert McCarthy, Vice President of Channel Sales.
