MegaPath Introduces Enhancements to its MegaPath One™ Unified Communications Solution
Feature-rich solution now supports SMS Text and Screen Sharing by external guests
Pleasanton, Calif. – June 27, 2017 – MegaPath, a leading provider of voice, data, security and cloud services in North America, today announced feature and design enhancements to its award-winning MegaPath One™ unified communications solution, including SMS Text and Screen Sharing by external guests.

New feature and design upgrades include:
- SMS Texting: MegaPath One users can now use their Business VoIP phone number to send and receive SMS texts to and from contacts with mobile numbers, from their phone, laptop or tablet.
- Screen Sharing by External Guests: Guests invited to collaborate that do not have the MegaPath One client (“external guests”) can now share their screens and applications during a MegaPath One session. External guests simply download the free MegaPath One Guest Client from the Google Apps store to participate in screen sharing during a conference session. The app is available at www.megapath.com/mp1-guestclient.
- My Room Tabular Design: Conference sessions, as well as chat and text sessions, are organized in a tabular design by contact or group, allowing users to easily toggle between conversations.
- Optimized Screen Display: The Screen Sharing experience is optimized to enable a full-screen display of desktops and applications for improved viewing. Participants can now easily toggle between the conference chat log and the screen share view.
Launched in June 2016, MegaPath One™ delivers integrated, enterprise-class collaboration for businesses of all sizes.
