MegaPath Named to CRN’s 2012 Partner Programs Guide for Business-Class Connectivity

PLEASANTON, Calif. – September 26, 2012 MegaPath Corporation, one of the leading providers of managed data, voice, security and hosted IT services in North America, today announced that it was listed in CRN’s second-annual Business-Class Connectivity Partner Programs Guide. The guide is a list of the connectivity vendors with partner programs or products that enable the IT channel to offer telecom and cable services to their customers.

"Today, resellers are searching for service providers that will deliver consistent support and don’t force them to compete with internal sales teams," said Dan Foster, President, Business Markets, MegaPath. "MegaPath's placement on this list is a testament of our dedication to the channel. We recognize that our partners are a valuable asset to the MegaPath team and we continuously listen to them and evolve our program to ensure we meet their needs."

MegaPath’s multi-tier Partner Program allows VARs, master agents, solution providers and independent IP consultants to participate at a level that is tailored to their business model. This program ensures channel neutrality and abundant resources needed to succeed such as MegaPath’s Secure to the Core Network, online Partner Portal and consistent support.

“More and more telecom carriers are starting to see the massive opportunity VARs present,” said Kelley Damore, Vice President and Editorial Director for CRN. “They’re abandoning their competitive posture and launching programs to tap the power of indirect sales and welcoming VARs with open arms. Our second-annual Business Class Connectivity Partner Programs Guide is a valuable tool for IT solution providers who want to learn more about some of the great new programs out there.”

The guide is intended to help CRN’s solution provider audience navigate through the details of available technologies, program opportunities and program offerings in the connectivity field. The 2012 Business-Class Connectivity Partner Programs Guide will be featured on and in the September issue of CRN.
