MegaPath's Dan Foster Recognized as a Channel Chief by Everything Channels CRM Magazine

Industry and Channel Veteran Invigorates Company's Partner Program

COSTA MESA, CA – March 9, 2009 – MegaPath Inc., the leading provider of managed IP data, voice and security services in North America, today announced that Senior Vice President of Sales Dan Foster has been named a 2009 Channel Chief by CRN magazine. Mr. Foster was selected as a 2009 Channel Chief for his innovative approach and commitment to providing partners with the services and tools needed to meet their overall business objectives. CRN Channel Chiefs are recognized as influential executives who consistently defend, promote and execute effective channel partner programs and strategies.

  • Developing channel-friendly services such as Site-to-Site MPLS VPN, and Duet Voice and Data with support for analog PRI and SIP Trunking
  • Creating a new partner program
  • Doubling the partner base and building an upward trend in revenue
  • Instituting a new Training and Certification program
  • Launching a new Partner Portal providing partners with tools, information, complete listing of products and status reports on current orders
  • Hiring dedicated marketing, sales support and business development personnel

This is the seventh consecutive year that CRN has developed the Channel Chief list. Top Channel Chiefs were chosen based on criteria including policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel, and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.
